‘Seminar’The Time to Teach A Course in Miracles ‘Seminar’ is an intensive weekend, or week in which different aspects of practicing and teaching A Course in Miracles are presented. The seminar is a collaborative venture between a host —individual, course group, reading group, church or center— and a presenter of Time to Teach A Course in Miracles.The purpose of the weekend, and/or week seminar is to introduce the Time to Teach A Course in Miracles class format and to emancipate student teachers to make the switch from being mere Course students to becoming effective Course teachers. It serves to increase the student teacher’s commitment to a teaching and healing function. Thus he overcomes fear, doubt, and all sense of inadequacy and unworthiness. The seminar also serves to establish leadership for the implementation of continued classes ‘On Location’ and participation in the other Time to Teach A Course in Miracles program extensions. But first and foremost the seminar serves to inspire and awaken you to the Reality you share with others and God. Here is what you can expect during a Time to Teach A Course in Miracles seminar: Weekend Seminar• Introduction of A Course in Miracles to newcomers, or for advanced teachers, ‘back to the basics’.• Implementation of the class format ‘On Location’. • Sharing of presenter’s personal story of awakening. • Mind-training workshop. • Healing and prayer session. • Philosophy and significance of teaching A Course in Miracles. • Explanation and presentation of Time to Teach A Course in Miracles program. • Facilitation and demonstration of one Time to Teach A Course in Miracles class. • Assessment of the weekend/week and how to go on from here; offering of program extensions. Week Sessions and Classes• Implementation of Time to Teach A Course in Miracles ‘On Location’ through additional demonstrative and instructional classes during weekdays or evenings following the weekend.• Morning and/or evening teaching and light sessions. • Individual one on one teaching, healing and guidance, on request. • Guidance and assistance concerning the mission and function of your group or center, on request. |
