‘Distance Learning’

Time to Teach A Course in Miracles ‘Distance Learning’ is an online practice and teacher training program. The platform for the distance learning course is called ‘Moodle’. ‘Moodle’ is a website program designed especially for educational distance learning purposes. The Time to Teach A Course in Miracles distance learning course as we designed, organized and structured it in ‘Moodle’, leads you through an individualized cyclical process of preparation and participation. The process revolves around weekly online classes, four-weekly essay writing assignments, a quarterly publishing assignment and a special skills training during each quarterly period.

The whole distance learning course takes exactly one year to complete. The course consists of four quarterly periods or ‘modules’ each lasting 13 weeks. Each module contains three theme series of four weeks each, and an additional week for evaluation and registration for the next module.

The course is personal, private and intimate. You spend quality time with yourself and Jesus while preparing for the classes, writing your essays, and completing additional tasks and assignments. The periods of quiet time are interspersed with the dynamic, participatory, and interactive activities of the ‘Class’, ‘One on One’ and ‘Conference’ calls, ‘Forum’, ‘Chat room’ , Video ‘Introductions’ and ‘Tutorials’. The distance learning course furthermore offers a variety of tools and resources: a notebook, a reference library, and a publishing database.
The main advantage of the distance learning course is that you can participate from the privacy of your home, at your own time and convenience. You meet people from different parts of the country and from different parts of the world. God bless the internet.
