About Monty

After his birth, Monty and his parents moved from a small Texas town to the state capital Austin. There he grew up, was educated, and finally graduated as a lawyer. Raised as a Baptist he believed in a God who judges and condemns, and therefore he carried within him a burden of guilt. When a friend read him a quote from Christian Science he had an awakening. His God of condemnation made place for a loving God. He became a practitioner of Christian Science and thus gained a deep understanding of the New Testament. After many years in Christian Science, Monty followed Joel Goldsmith’s new movement; the Infinite Way. From there he took the step to A Course in Miracles when someone introduced him to the Master teacher of A Course in Miracles. Monty recognized the Master’s enlightenment and the tremendous awakening energy this man generate in the interactions with his students. It took Monty only six months to move to Wisconsin and practice the Course in the vicinity of Master teacher.
Monty is well known and respected within the Course community for his part in the 7-year long  legal battle that made A Course in Miracles available to the public domain. Over the last few years he and a good friend started A Course in Miracles center in Mexico City, Mexico. He makes his extensive experience available to the people in Mexico the same way he will make his experience available to us in this teleseminar. You are in for a real treat. Monty is a knowledgeable, passionate and inspiring teacher. To hear him talk is an experience you don’t want to miss.
