Teaching learning processThe preparation according to the topic assignment has four parts: an orientation, a read and practice, an inquiry and a presentation part.Orientation• Open to the current topic assignment.• Read the title and the quote. • If listed, read the general reading. • Explore the questions under inquiry and presentation. Read and Practice• Choose a cluster listed under read and practice.• Read each text section and practice each workbook lesson within that cluster. Inquiry• Put pen to paper to answer the questions under inquiry.• Be patient and listen; the answers are within you. • If needed, reread some of your sections and lessons. Then return to the inquiry Presentation• Answer the questions or follow the directions under presentation.• How does the topic fit within the overall theme series? • Review your notes. • Put it all aside and ask yourself: What do I want to learn, share and teach? |
