Teaching learning process

The preparation according to the topic assignment has four parts: an orientation, a read and practice, an inquiry and a presentation part.

Orientation

•    Open to the current topic assignment.
•    Read the title and the quote.
•    If listed, read the general reading.
•    Explore the questions under inquiry and presentation.

Read and Practice

•    Choose a cluster listed under read and practice.
•    Read each text section and practice each workbook lesson within that cluster.

Inquiry

•    Put pen to paper to answer the questions under inquiry.
•    Be patient and listen; the answers are within you.
•    If needed, reread some of your sections and lessons. Then return to the inquiry

 Presentation

•    Answer the questions or follow the directions under presentation.
•    How does the topic fit within the overall theme series?
•    Review your notes.
•    Put it all aside and ask yourself: What do I want to learn, share and teach?
