The Lifting of the Veil

By Nancy Sanchez
When you climb a mountain, you see things in a different way, with more integrity; when you go deep into the woods, you can fuse with a thousand fragrances and even become a muse, of freshness itself. And when you dive into the ocean you can feel the value of the air, and the caressing fusion of the crystalline waters. Reaching the truth can arise out of such moments of observation and search; moments in which we decide to look upon our brothers as new beings, without concepts, without memory, but rather as a consequence of having intimately recognized ourselves, behind each veil that obscures the face of Christ. Then we can hear His Voice? With an open Heart, one to one, understanding and loving our brothers as a result of the love we feel for ourselves. This occurrence, that only happens in our being, is the most beautiful prayer that we could ever offer in gratitude for having freed us from the shadow of being prisoners of concepts, and of the ego.

The light shines now from heart to heart, and the memory of God is left uncovered like an idea which fills the totality of my mind. The ‘veils’ are lifted to discover that which impeded me from attaining the vision of the Saviour, because through lack of judgment, there will be no more lament, and we will never again feel abandoned.
Today I want to see the world without condemning it, through happy eyes that forgiveness has freed from all distortion. Perception is a mirror, not a fact, and that which I see is my own state of mind, reflected outside of me. I want to bless the world, contemplating it through the eyes of Christ. Through the action of forgiveness I transcend judgements, and the illusions I made in my mind that keep me in the belief that I am a body;  unaware that I am a “BEING”, only seemingly trapped in a physical experience of separation which is not real, and will never be able to be, in any way.

The veil that forgiveness lifts, with exquisite tenderness, shows me my innocence and I can submerge myself silently into a state in which the shadows of conflict are impossible, as I have united my will with the Will of God, in the recognition that they are one and the same. As a result, the monopolizing of the ego over my perceptions are weakened, and I feel free to leave the past, experiencing a feeling of peace, love, and openness of heart that produce a  sensation of being at home.

If your eye is sincere, your body will be luminous. Purity and firmness of purpose are the conditions through which the light of God is received, because if we desire to know the Truth we must be available to accept all that it reveals. We must not yield to error. To vacillate and be lukewarm in accepting the truth, is to choose to continue to live in darkness.  The more complete our surrender to God, the sooner the plan to be carried out will be revealed, where in communion with him we shall be able to present to humanity his true nature.
I looove you Father, and I want to go home.

Love,  Nancy
