What has to happen before you can see?“The choice is not whether to see the past or the present; the choice is merely to see or not”To see requires willingness. It is a fact that when I begin to be honest with myself, realize where I am in my mind, and recognize the guilt, unhappiness and anger that is there, I do not want to cover that anymore. Instead, I want to give all this to the Holy Spirit, as soon as possible. So, here is the intention of seeing and experience something totally different. Jesus in the Course in Miracles is very clear, he is going to help me to see my mind and my fear as a human being, that they are based on the old and false thought system that began with the crazy idea of separation from my Source, my Father. The desire to see starts when I realize that all my perceptions come from my mind. Everything is an effect of my thoughts, and human mind identification is false and is an illusion. The first fifty lessons of A Course in Miracles, especially for me the first 34, help me to realize that I am the dreamer, that I have invented everything I perceive, and the most amazing idea: I am mind, and I am responsible for everything I see. The experience that cause and effect are not separate gets stronger. Today we are continuing to develop the theme of cause and effect. You are not the victim of the world you see because you invented it. You can give it up as easily as you made it up. You will see it or not see it, as you wish. While you want it you will see it; when you no longer want it, it will not be there for you to see.” Then, I choose to see beyond the body that is everything I perceive. But I cannot do this by myself. One action is required; give the illusion, the beliefs and all the meanings that I have about everything to the Holy Spirit and start to share the truth. It implies the use of new ideas that are going to have new effects. Therefore the recognition of my reality starts to shine on everything and everyone I see. It is a paradox, because I still perceive, but now this tool has a new meaning, the Holy Spirit’s meaning, not my little old-false one. Determination is necessary. Investing in reality is the new action in my mind. “The perception of goodness is not knowledge, but the denial of the opposite of goodness enables you to recognize a condition in which opposites do not exist. And this is the condition of knowledge. Without this awareness you have not met its conditions, and until you do you will not know it is yours already.” The real world has been available for me always, God already gave me it. My real thoughts dwell there. But however it seems I must choose it in order to experience it. And after that, there are not words, but only God.” There is a borderland that stands between you and Heaven. It is not a place, and when you reach it is apart from time. Here is the meeting place where thoughts are brought together; where conflicting values meet and all illusions are laid beside the truth, where they are judged to be untrue.” Choosing for truth insists in seeing the Christ in everyone and everything, because it is in me. I practice forgiveness, I let my mind be still and I bless everything. This has to happen before I can see. Thank you. Rosa. |
